Annette Groenewegen

Assistant Advancement Director

Annette Groenewegen leads the efforts in growing High Jump’s annual fund and major donor stewardship strategy, maintaining foundation support and the program’s marketing plan, as well as managing the logistics for High Jump’s Spring of Opportunity Benefit. She has nearly ten years of non-profit development experience and is a strong advocate for equalized educational opportunities for Chicago’s young people.

Before High Jump, Annette was the Manager of Annual Giving at Thresholds, building targeted annual fund campaigns and helped creating an enticing online giving platform for one-time gifts and monthly giving. Additionally, she implemented a strong development plan for the new Chicago Maritime Museum as a Fundraising Consultant.

Annette has worked in the Development sector at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Chicago, Trinity University and with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), a national association that supports and promotes court-appointed advocates for abused or neglected children. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
