Amy Tsegai (she/her)

Campus Manager, Parker Campus

Amy Tsegai joins the High Jump team as the new Campus Manager at the Parker campus in Lincoln Park. Coming from the Art Institute of Chicago, Amy is excited to begin this role to help support High Jump’s mission to provide academic enrichment to Chicago’s youth.

Amy grew up in Uptown, Chicago where she attended a Chicago Public School during her elementary and middle school years. She is a recipient of the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund that gave her the opportunity to enroll in a private high school. Following high school, Amy received her undergraduate degree from Denison University in Ohio where she majored in Communications and minored in Black Studies. Amy looks forward to making connections with the students, parents, and teachers that reflect her personal and educational experiences.

Going beyond her previous role at the Art Institute of Chicago, Amy was a voluntary member of multiple working groups at the museum which includes taking on the leadership role as a co-chair of the museum’s Black Caucus. With everything Amy has learned and offered to the Art Institute of Chicago, Amy is passionate and thrilled to give back to her city–by lending a hand to the future of education for Chicago’s youth.
