Director of Program Evaluation and Quality Improvement
Jen Wenner serves as the Director of Program Evaluation and Quality Improvement for High Jump. Working closely with the program team, Executive Director, and Advancement Director, she leads the development and implementation of evaluation activities for High Jump programs. Jen comes to High Jump from the YMCA of Metro Chicago, where she worked as the Quality and Evaluation Coordinator of an intervention focused on professional development for early childhood staff. It was here she developed her passion for incorporating responsible evaluation into social justice work. She has worked in evaluation for over 6 years, identifying appropriate metrics and designing measurement and evaluation frameworks to accurately discuss program impact.
Earning her Ph.D in Developmental Science from North Dakota State University, she designed/coordinated evaluations for a variety of programs throughout her graduate career, including life skills, work readiness, and education programs. Her knowledge of human development and program evaluation give her a unique perspective regarding program evaluation.
Jen is thrilled to be working at High Jump. She recognizes the importance of education, and is passionate about supporting each student’s right to an equitable education. High Jump’s mission resonates with her, and she is excited to contribute to the improvement and success of this important program.
