High Jump Admissions Interviews
Location: The Latin School of Chicago, Francis W. Parker School and the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools
Time commitment: 2.5 - 3.5 hours
Volunteers are invited to interview sixth graders who have applied to be part of High Jump. This is a unique experience for volunteers to actively participate in the admissions process; their feedback will help decide which students will be accepted into the program and given the opportunity of a lifetime.
Interview questions and training are provided to volunteers prior to their interview date. Before each interview, volunteers will have the opportunity to review the student’s application profile and essays. After the interview we ask that volunteers fill out an interview evaluation form for the High Jump staff to review, which will inform their admission decision.
Please contact us for specific volunteer dates and times.
