Alumni Get College Prep with The Krupnick Approach

One of the pillars of High Jump is ensuring that our Scholars are not just prepared to thrive while they are in the program during middle school, but that they will continue to thrive during high school, college, and beyond. We are committed to supporting our scholars through every waypoint along their educational journeys, and our Alumni Scholars program ensures that they always have the resources and support of the High Jump community to achieve their goals.

For our high school-aged alums, the next big challenge on their horizons is the college application and selection process. This summer, to help them approach this exciting yet daunting milestone, we held our four-week Summer Academy, one of our optional summer programs for High Jump alumni that is focused on SAT Preparation and College Planning at no cost! 

This year, we were delighted to partner with The Krupnick Approach, who brought their extensive experience helping students maximize their ACT and SAT scores to our rising junior and senior alums. Students who have worked with the Krupnick Approach consistently have shown to increase their ACT scores by at least 7 points and their SAT scores by at least 250 points – the best track record in Chicago – so we are so grateful to have their in-kind support to bring these same results to High Jump alumni.
