Nate Pietrini comes to High Jump from his prior position as an award-winning principal of one of Illinois’ top elementary schools, Hawthorne Scholastic Academy. His résumé includes extensive teaching and executive leadership in public schools since 2004 – with the majority of time spent teaching grades 6-12 in Chicago Public Schools (CPS).

Before joining High Jump, Yolanda Luna-Mroz served as principal of Decatur Classical School, one of the highest-rated elementary schools in Chicago, and recently honored as one of 367 National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2020. At Decatur, Yolanda says her decisions were always guided by what would clearly be in her students’ best interest.
Chief Advancement Officer
Jill Reid brings over 20 years of experience building resources for Chicago-based and International programs focusing on poverty related causes, especially the welfare of children. Previously, at Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago, she oversaw private fundraising of $4.8 million and government grants of $2.9 million.
Advancement Services and Writing Coordinator
Max Asaf joined the High Jump team in the fall of 2021 as the Advancement Services and Writing Coordinator. In this role, he serves the organization’s fundraising efforts by handling the ins and outs of individual giving including helping to plan and execute donor appeals.
Campus Manager, Lab Campus and Recruitment Manager
Arthur Dennis, a New York native, joins High Jump as Campus Manager at the Lab campus and Recruitment Manager for High Jump programs. Arthur’s experiences with poverty and homelessness motivated him to live a life of service for children, their families, and communities– not wanting any child to feel worthless or alone.
Manager of Individual Giving
Ida joined High Jump as the Manager of Individual Giving in 2021. In her role, Ida manages High Jump’s annual fund and the execution of the individual giving program.
Assistant Director, Communications & Marketing
Tammi Longsjo joined High Jump as the Advancement Communications & Marketing Manager in January 2020. Charged with keeping our messaging on point and our designs looking sharp, Tammi brings over 20 years of experience in design, writing, and project management.

Jocelyn Song served as a classroom teacher for the New York City Department of Education and Chicago Public Schools for 15 years before joining High Jump in 2021. Campus Manager, Parker Campus
Amy Tsegai joins the High Jump team as the new Campus Manager at the Parker campus in Lincoln Park. Coming from the Art Institute of Chicago, Amy is excited to begin this role to help support High Jump’s mission to provide academic enrichment to Chicago’s youth.
Director of Program Evaluation and Quality Improvement
Jen Wenner serves as the Director of Program Evaluation and Quality Improvement for High Jump. Working closely with the program team, Executive Director, and Advancement Director, she leads the development and implementation of evaluation activities for High Jump programs.
