Announcing High Jump’s Chief Advancement Officer: Molly Gilbride

On June 30, 2025, High Jump will welcome Molly Gilbride as Chief Advancement Officer. Leading High Jump’s development, marketing, and communications strategy, Molly will oversee planning and execution of fundraising to meet goals and develop multi-year growth plans. In alignment with senior leadership and the board, Molly will play a key role in the organization’s overall development, strategic planning, and management.
Molly is a seasoned fundraising and engagement professional with over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, including more than a decade in advancement work – including alumni relations, annual giving, major gifts, and planned giving. She has led strategic fundraising initiatives across mission-driven institutions such as Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland, The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and The Ohio State University College of Medicine. With a strong track record of building donor relationships and securing transformational gifts, Molly brings a collaborative spirit, a data-informed mindset, and a deep belief in the power of storytelling to drive philanthropic support. She thrives at the intersection of development and marketing, where a clear message and authentic engagement can move people to support bold missions.
Her commitment to service began as an AmeriCorps member, working on literacy programs that deepened her dedication to education and equity. She’s passionate about aligning generosity with impact and building systems that help teams and communities thrive.
Enthusiastic about joining our community, Molly remarked, “I’m thrilled to join High Jump because this work reflects several things I care about—access, equity, and opportunity. I’m excited to partner with the incredible team to elevate opportunities and stories that fuel our mission and expand what’s possible for the students and families we serve.”
Molly’s commitment to effectively steward and cultivate new donor pipelines will be key to growing our programs and providing access and opportunities that develop students’ academic abilities, strengthen their social and emotional learning, and equip them to thrive in high school and beyond. We hope you will join us in welcoming Molly to High Jump.
